Hard to believe it’s been almost 4 years since I took these photos. These photos were my way of saying goodbye to a place I spent most of my childhood summers running around barefoot with not a care in the world. I tried to see past the weathered sagging buildings and remember it’s beauty and how it had provided the backdrop to endless picture perfect summers. This is a 2 part series.
I remember going there!
That was so much fun! I remember playing with all of our cabbage patch dolls out under the big maple tree.
Pam Schafer was a cousin of mine. My grandpa used to drop me off at this farm and pick me up 2 or 3 weeks later. By the time I got around to looking for this farm, it was already gone. I only regret I would have looked up Pam before she passed. I would love to see more pictures if you have any. I would love to hear from you.
