Girl From The North Country

Serves 1

1 1/2 oz. dry gin

1/2 ounces pear Brandy

1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

1/2 oz lingonberry syrup or raspberry syrup

1 slice of pear, for garnish

Shake the gin, brandy, lemon juice, and syrup with ice until well chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of pear, if you wish.

Vikre makes an amazing Gin Selection. I highly recommend trying the “Boreal juniper Gin” for this recipe.

This is a really refreshing drink that uses winter fruit that is in season during the holidays.

The colors are intoxicating and not too sweet.

I LOVE the large ice cubes for these drinks. They chill the cocktails perfectly without watering them  down.

My kids and I love pears ..if one gets too ripe..I now have a plan for it!

Happiness in a glass.
